NIFOR Recruitment 2023
NIFOR also referred to as the Nigerian Institute for Oil Palm Research is an agency of the government in Nigeria that conducts studies regarding extension methodology and strategies. After soy and rapeseed, oil palm is the third-largest oil crop in terms of cultivated area. Due to its high yields, oil palm uses less than 10% of the land designated for oil crops to generate around 35% of all vegetable oils.
Nearly 75% of the global yield of palm oil, which contains a lot of palmitic fatty acids, is used in food goods, particularly cooking oil and processed oils and fats (like margarine).

Eligibility Criteria

A. Educational Qualification: Educationally, Candidates are expected to have an HND, OND, B. Sc. Masters degree, and Ph.D. in any relevant course of study from a Tertiary Institution recognized by the government.
Also, a minimum of 5 credits in GCE, NABTEB, SSCE, and NECO including English and Mathematics.
B. Age Requirement: The minimum age to apply is 20 years of age, no one below 20 years will be considered for a position with the NIFOR.
C. Citizenship: All candidates must be Nigerian, and a valid means of identification is required e.g driver’s license, International passport, Voter’s card, or National ID number ( NIN) all of this is to identify yourself as a citizen of Nigeria.
D. Work Experience: Since the NIFOR recruitment process differs depending on the job an applicant is applying for, you can’t say for certain if you should have work experience to apply.
